What is Glamping?

Why You Need to Try Glamping in Colorado?

If you want to escape the city for a few days to see the beautiful Rocky Mountains, but don’t find the idea of sleeping on the forest ground appealing or convenient, a glamping trip might be the answer. Glamping is the hottest new travel experience that people are clamoring for all over the country.

What if amenities you’ve come to expect in a hotel room could be found in the great outdoors? This idea took off nearly two decades ago, and has since grown into a bucket list item for many people around the world, and it’s no wonder why!

Take a look at some of the reasons glamping makes for the perfect vacation.

It's Easy to Start Glamping

While getting into camping can be pretty daunting with all the equipment and outdoor skills you need, glamping is highly accessible to anyone. Our guests often ask what they need to pack to prepare for their glamping trip to Arapaho Valley Ranch, and our response is “your food, your drinks, your weather appropriate clothes, and your smiles.” We take care of the rest.

While different glamping sites vary in what they offer, each of our sites offers a Queen bed, "disco beds", a deck with chairs, a camp kitchen, stoves, grill, and a fire pit.

Being Outdoors is Good for You!

Spending time out in nature has many health benefits - both physical and mental. Going glamping opens up opportunities for physical activities like hiking, biking, and swimming. It also enables you to breathe cleaner air and destress from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Vitamin D you receive from the sun can even increase your immunity to certain diseases.

We at Arapaho Valley Ranch offer a cozy glamping experience because we want more people to be able to experience the beautiful nature of the Rocky Mountains. You can have all of the health benefits of the great outdoors without any of the mental and physical stress that comes with planning a camping trip.
